Why Skraps will be the gateway drug for Millenials to Cryptocurrency
It’s no secret that the future of technology belongs in the hands of younger generations.
And that they will dominate the landscape with their embrace of it.
You remember it well growing up. Older generations usually scoffed at the idea of carrying music with you on tapes or in boomboxes. Before long, the sales of vinyl records declined as Sony’s walkman entered the market.
This device enabled the average young person to enter into a whole new way of creating, listening, and sharing music with each other. Think about that process of how consumers embraced the market. It started with technology that was initially used by young people who didn’t feel the closeness to Vinyl records that their parents felt. The nostalgia effect doesn’t work well when you didn’t grow up with it.

The flying times of a crusading Reagan economy coupled with the rebellious capitalist kids who fought to win in the stock market and in life. This is personified by Michael J. It was in the 80’s that we saw the Stock Market become truly accessible to the average young person and many invested. One of the most popular movies about the Stock Market was appropriately-titled Wall Street. Let’s say that you had invested a mere $1000 dollars in the Dow Jones Industrial Average when that movie was released.
What would had been the end result for you?
It would have been a minimum of a 7 times increase for your money.
This is because as technology becomes beneficial more people use it and therefore more people invest in it.
Right now, 30% of millenials would rather invest in cryptocurrency rather than the stock market. This is the beginning of a financial revolution. And it’s no wonder why this is happening when you look at the return on investment that occurs from investing long-term in cryptocurrency.
Real Estate is up 5% from last year, Gold is up 10%, US Equities are up 11.5% while Bitcoin is up 181% and the rest of the cryptocurrency market (traditionally called alt-coins) are up 448%. And this is only the tip of iceberg because of the amount of people not yet in the market. This is similar to going back in time to the popularization of the stock market or the birth of the internet. When technology becomes beneficial to someone it becomes important, but when it becomes popular, it becomes exponentially valuable.
There is a growing demand among young people to invest in new technology and cryptocurrency is becoming more mainstream to the average person every single day.
